This Genuine JAP piston with rings is a direct replacement for the JAP Model 34 engine. It is an oversize +0.020 inch piston (approx. 0.51 mm), intended for cylinders that have been re-bored to suit. Made from a robust machined aluminium alloy for good heat transfer and low reciprocating mass, it comes with correctly matched piston rings to restore compression and sealing. Supplied as piston with rings only, it is ideal for engine overhauls and restorations where the original bore has wear, scoring, or ovality. OEM reference is SSA14/020. Common uses for the Model 34 include vintage stationary engines powering compactors, generators, pumps, and garden or light construction machinery, where reliable starting and stable running are essential.
