Overview:
The Faithfull Plumbers Soldering Mat is a flexible, asbestos‐free heat protection mat for plumbing and soldering work with gas torches. Placed between your work area and the heat source, it helps prevent scorch and burn marks on walls, cabinets, joists and other nearby surfaces. It measures 250 x 250 mm (approx. 10 x 10 inches) and is rated to withstand temperatures up to 550°C, making it suitable for soft‐soldering tasks around copper pipe and fittings. Designed for use with common Butane and Propane blowlamps and plumbing torches, the mat is easy to position and reuse. For best results, keep the same face of the mat towards the flame each time to maintain a cleaner reverse side.
