Overview:
Pressed steel end slam bolt (MPN 800 1028) for secure closure of small doors, hatches and enclosures on commercial vehicles and equipment. Manufactured from mild steel with a zinc plated, clear passivated finish for corrosion resistance, it uses a nose-down bolt profile to engage a keeper or frame as the door is shut. The compact body measures 56 mm (2.20") by 50 mm (1.97") with a 28 mm (1.10") overall thickness, and a 12 mm (0.47") tongue. Fixing is via countersunk holes for a flush install. Designed for everyday service on trucks, trailers and plant support equipment, it is equally suited to lockers, toolboxes and auxiliary enclosures where a positive slam action and robust construction are required.
