Overview:
This 13-pin 12V trailer plug (MPN 763 303) is a plastic-bodied connector for towing electrics built to the ISO 11446 standard. It provides the electrical interface between a tow vehicle and trailers, caravans, plant transporters and other equipment using the 13-pin Euro connection, carrying road lighting and auxiliary functions such as reversing, fog, charging and fridge supplies. The body is moulded plastic with an IP54 rating for protection against dust and water splashes. Nickel-plated pins offer improved conductivity and resistance to corrosion compared with plain brass. Wiring is via cross-head screw terminals with an additional internal cable grip to secure the cable. Supplied grommets cover a range of cable outside diameters for a neat and strain-relieved installation. A wiring diagram is included to support workshop and fleet maintenance tasks.
