Overview:
This PTFE Thread Sealing Tape is a general-purpose tape for sealing threaded pipe joints in plumbing and maintenance work. Made from pure PTFE, it fills thread gaps to create a reliable, watertight and airtight seal without hardening. The tape is 12 mm wide (0.47 inches) and supplied as a 12 m roll (39.37 ft) on a protective plastic spool for clean storage and easy dispensing. It suits metal and plastic BSP threaded fittings used on domestic and commercial systems, including pumps, pressure washers and air compressors. The non-adhesive PTFE surface also lubricates threads, helping fittings tighten smoothly and disassemble later without galling. Manufacturer reference: MPN 865 130.
