Overview:
This 2-Point Rod Lock, Right Hand (MPN 800 1288) is a zinc plated mild steel locking assembly designed to secure doors and access panels on commercial vehicles and equipment. The unit provides two-point engagement to help hold taller doors shut along their height, and features a spring-loaded action for positive operation. It is supplied complete with an 8 mm (5/16 in) square drive to suit matching handles or actuators, and includes two rod guides to support the linkage during operation. The assembly length is 2210 mm (87.0 in), with a 25 mm (0.98 in) throw for reliable latch movement. Linkage rods are Ø9.5 mm (3/8 in) and typical fixing holes are Ø4 mm (5/32 in). The bright zinc plated finish offers corrosion resistance for service on truck bodies, trailers, buses, gensets, horseboxes, cabs, roller shutters and equipment compartments.
