Overview:
This right-hand slam lock (MPN 800 1292) is a pressed mild steel body latch designed for quick, positive closure on commercial vehicle and equipment doors. The body is zinc plated for corrosion resistance, with a solid brass tongue for durable engagement. It uses an 8 mm (0.31") square drive to operate the mechanism and is supplied without a handle and without a safety catch for simple integration with external furniture or remote actuation. The lock fixes through countersunk holes to suit 5 mm (0.20") fasteners, and the compact case measures 113 mm (4.45") in length, 60.5 mm (2.38") in width and 14.5 mm (0.57") in depth. A 16 mm (0.63") tongue provides reliable retention. Suitable for new builds and replacements on bodies and enclosures where a right-hand slam action is required.
