The Rope Rotor is the grooved pulley inside the recoil starter of Husqvarna petrol chainsaws such as the 254 and 257. This Genuine Husqvarna part is moulded from durable, impact‐resistant polymer (nylon) to withstand repeated pull starts and vibration. It holds the starter cord, works with the rewind spring and starter pawls, and turns the crankshaft during starting.
