Overview:
This 3-point locking rod lock with recessed T-handle (MPN 800 1305) is a stainless steel assembly for secure multi-point door closure on commercial vehicle bodies and enclosures. It comprises a polished stainless recessed drop T handle with rubber gasket, two linkage rods and two rod guides. The 3-point action secures the top, bottom and centre of the door to reduce flex and improve security in service. The assembly is keyed alike for fleet convenience, so multiple locks can be operated with the same key set. Main dimensions include a 2352 mm overall rod length (approximately 92.6 in), a 25.5 mm throw (about 1.00 in) and Ø9.5 mm rods (3/8 in). Typical use is on truck and trailer side doors, roller shutters and compartment access on plant, bus and specialist bodywork.
