Built from heavy‐gauge steel with a bright zinc plated finish for wear and corrosion resistance. The unit is unbraked and uses a single gear drive with a safety ratchet and solid gearing for controlled forward winding and holding. Rated by the manufacturer to a maximum capacity of 545 kg (1200 lb), with a CE working capacity of 320 kg for regulated applications. Maximum rolling load on a 30% gradient is 832 kg on a good surface. Single speed operation with a 4.3:1 gear ratio keeps operation simple and dependable in fleet and workshop use.
