Overview:
Timco Twinthread Wood Screws are durable, general‐purpose fixings for timber and wood‐based boards. This pack contains 200 screws in No.7 gauge at 1.1/4" length (31.75 mm). Made from hardened steel with a bright zinc‐plated finish, they offer reliable strength and corrosion resistance for indoor and outdoor use. A Pozidriv recess provides positive drive with reduced cam‐out, while the countersunk head seats flush for a neat finish under fillers, caps, or paint. The twinthread design drives quickly and holds firmly in softwood, hardwood, MDF, and chipboard when used appropriately with pilot holes in dense materials. Suitable for use with a hand Pozidriv screwdriver or a cordless drill/driver with a PZ bit, including common site tools such as DeWalt DCD series and Makita DHP series.

Typical Applications:
Ideal for general carpentry, joinery, and site work: fixing battens, skirting, door hardware, hinges, shelving, and cabinets. Suitable for softwood framing, MDF and chipboard furniture assembly, and light outdoor projects such as fencing repairs and garden joinery where zinc protection is beneficial. Use pilot holes in hardwood for best results and to reduce splitting.
