Overview:
This genuine Knott replacement jockey wheel (MPN 200/40B) is a 200mm (7.9in) diameter wheel and tyre assembly with a 40mm (1.6in) tread width, supplied as a spare for Knott Avonride jockey wheel assemblies. The solid rubber tyre is mounted on a pressed steel rim with the bearing fitted, and the wheel runs on the Knott 578004 spindle rather than a plain bore. It is supplied as a wheel and tyre only, without spindle or fixings; a worn or seized spindle should be replaced at the same time with Knott part 578004. Fitting the genuine wheel keeps the correct fork clearance on the 40mm-wheel Knott assemblies, which will not accept a wider pattern wheel.
