Overview:
This 50mm x 4.5m winch strap with forged hook (MPN 763 492) is a replacement webbing strap for manual hand winches on trailers and general towing equipment. Made from robust nylon webbing, the 50mm (2") width offers a stable, predictable wrap on the winch drum while resisting wear in day-to-day use. The 4.5m length (approx. 15 ft) provides ample reach for typical trailer loading, recovery and boat launch/retrieval tasks where a web strap is preferred to wire rope. A heavy-duty forged hook is pre-fitted for quick attachment to bow eyes, lashing rings or recovery points, and a fixing kit is included for securing the strap to the winch drum. The strap carries a 1,500 kg breaking strain (approx. 1.5 tonne) for pulling applications. Suits Maypole hand winches MP7970 and MP7971 and similar units that take a 50mm webbing strap.
