Overview:
This body mounting spring (MPN 800 1333) is a yellow powder coated mild steel spring designed for use on the first body mounting brackets on each side of a truck or trailer chassis, directly behind the cab. It supports body-to-chassis connection by providing controlled preload and vibration isolation at the front mounts. The spring is intended for use with mounting brackets 6033/02314 and 6033/0714 and is installed by tightening to a specified compressed length of 38 mm (1.50 in). Supplied in a durable yellow powder coated finish to aid identification and corrosion resistance, the spring measures 44.5 mm (1.75 in) in length with an external diameter of 31.5 mm (1.24 in) and an internal diameter of 17 mm (0.67 in). Suitable for a wide range of commercial vehicle and trailer body applications where a universal front body mounting spring is required.
