Overview:
The concealed cantilever hinge (MPN 800 1038) is a compact, flush-mount hinge for doors and panels where the mechanism needs to be hidden inside the frame. It uses a zinc plated mild steel body for strength and corrosion resistance, with anodised aluminium link arms for smooth articulation. The hinge measures 102 mm (4.02 in) in length and opens to 110°, allowing wide access without external protrusions. It has been endurance tested to 10,000 open/close cycles using a pair of hinges fitted to a 25 kg (55.1 lb) door sized 1 m x 1 m (39.37 in x 39.37 in), giving a practical indication of performance on service doors and access hatches.
