Overview:
Right Hand Slam Lock with Handle (MPN 800 1165) designed for commercial bodywork and access doors. The housing is manufactured from mild steel with a zinc plated finish for corrosion resistance, and it drives a robust malleable iron tongue to secure the door on closure. The slam action enables the door or hatch to latch shut without manual operation of the handle, speeding up repeated access on fleet and plant equipment. An 8 mm (0.31 in) square drive interface is provided for compatible furniture or linkage. The unit measures 87.5 mm (3.44 in) in length, 70 mm (2.76 in) in width and 16 mm (0.63 in) in body thickness, with Ø6 mm (0.24 in) fixing holes. Suited to service doors, lockers and access panels across trucks, trailers, buses, gensets, horseboxes and cab installations where a right-hand orientation is required.
