Overview:
Slam Lock, Left Hand, No Handle, Zinc Plated, 8 mm Square Drive (MPN 800 1173) is a pressed mild steel latch designed for secure, slam-to-close engagement on doors and access panels used across commercial vehicles and equipment. The body is zinc plated for corrosion resistance and long service life, and it features a white nylon tongue to promote smooth operation and reduce closing noise and wear. This left-hand unit is supplied without a handle and is actuated via an 8 mm square drive, allowing connection to a compatible handle or linkage as required by the installation. The compact case measures 92 mm long x 86 mm wide x 27 mm thick (3.62 x 3.39 x 1.06 in), with a 20 mm tongue (0.79 in) and slotted fixings to assist alignment during fitting.
