The Maypole 12N 7Pin Car & Trailer Tester is a handheld diagnostic tool for checking standard 12V towing electrics on cars, vans, 4x4s and light commercial vehicles, as well as trailer and caravan road lights that use a 12N 7‐pin connector. Model MP1804B is built with a durable plastic body suited to workshop and roadside use. It verifies that core lighting circuits are working correctly before you set off, helping you spot wiring faults early. The tester can be used on the vehicle side and on the trailer side, giving a quick pass/fail check of continuity and signal output. It runs on a single 9V PP3 battery (not included) when used to test trailers. It is intended for traditional filament-bulb lighting and is not suitable for LED systems.
