Overview:
The 13 Pin Car and Trailer Socket Tester (MPN 763 519) is a handheld diagnostic tool for checking 13‐pin towing electrics to ISO 11446 on both towbar sockets and trailer/caravan plugs. It verifies lighting functions such as indicators, tail, brake, reverse and fog, and confirms the presence of the 12V permanent and switched power supplies where applicable. LED status lamps provide an immediate pass/fail indication so wiring faults can be located quickly during workshop, yard or roadside checks. The unit is suitable for use with modern trailers and caravans fitted with LED lamps as well as older units using filament bulbs. It is battery powered for convenience on site and in the field, making it a practical choice for vehicle preparation, fleet inspections and pre-handover testing across cars, vans, pickups, 4x4s, trailers, plant transporters and horseboxes.
