Overview:
This 7-pin towbar wiring kit with 7-way bypass relay (MPN 763 962) is a universal 12V towing electrics set for fitting a standard 7-pin road-light socket to cars, vans and light commercials. The kit includes a 7-pin socket on a mounting plate with gasket and fixings, a 12V 7-way bypass relay, 1.5 m (approx. 4 ft 11 in) of 7-core trailer cable, and a fused power supply lead. The bypass relay reduces load on the vehicle lighting circuits and provides a facility to drive a dash tell-tale if required. Supplied with inline blade fuse holder and 15 A blade fuse, plus snap connectors and pre-insulated terminals to complete the installation. Instructions are included. Cable lengths are approximate and suit most standard towbar installations where the socket is close to the towbar mounting.
