Towbar Wiring Kits
Towbar wiring kits carry the towing vehicle's lighting circuit out to the trailer socket, covering 7-pin 12N and 13-pin formats in pre-wired 1.5m and 2m looms. Kits are supplied with a bypass relay where the trailer load must be kept off the vehicle's own circuit, preventing bulb-failure warnings and lamp flicker on multiplexed systems, and audible relays give an in-cab indicator repeat.
Also stocked are PCT Logicon ZR2000 and ZR2500 towing interface modules for CANbus vehicles, where the trailer signal has to be read from the vehicle's data network rather than tapped from the lamp circuit. Select by socket format, cable run length, and whether the vehicle requires a bypass relay or a full interface module.
