Overview:
This piston circlip is a non-genuine replacement for Yanmar small diesel engines and is used to retain the piston pin securely within the piston. Made from hardened spring steel with a resilient finish, it is designed to cope with heat, vibration and repeated load cycles found in compact machinery. Sized for 21 mm (0.83 in) piston pins, it suits Yanmar L60AE and L70AE engines and equivalent applications. The round-wire profile locates in the piston groove to prevent pin movement, helping maintain correct alignment of the connecting rod and protecting the cylinder bore.
