Overview:
The Sealey 150mm Piston Ring Compressor (4-band) is a cylindrical sleeve used to compress piston rings so a piston can be inserted smoothly into the cylinder during engine assembly. Made from oil-tempered spring steel, it delivers strong, even compression with good resistance to wear. A thumb-operated ratchet mechanism provides controlled tensioning, and a steel key is supplied for fast release and removal once the piston is seated. With a 150mm deep body and an adjustable range for piston diameters from 60mm to 175mm, it covers many small engines through to larger automotive units.
