Description
Overview:
Bradley Dixon-Bate combination ball and pin coupling, carrying a 50mm tow ball and a 25mm pin jaw on one two-bolt mounting, so a vehicle can tow either a ball-hitched trailer or a towing eye trailer without changing hardware. Forged steel with a zinc and clear passivate finish. Bolts to the vehicle towing plate using two M16 bolts. Classified A50-X/S and type approved to UN/ECE Regulation 55. Supplied with the pin, R clips and retaining lanyard. Also listed as DB202014 and AL-KO Kober 185002015.

Towing Capacity:
The manufacturer's rated maximum is 3500kg and applies regardless of the towing vehicle.
Maximum braked trailer weight derived from the D-value:
- Behind a 3,500kg vehicle: 3,630kg, so the 3500kg rating governs
- Behind a 7,500kg vehicle: 2,340kg
These are coupling limits only. The lowest of the coupling limit, the towing vehicle's plated towing limit, the trailer's gross weight and the driver's licence entitlement applies. Centre-axle trailers are rated on Dc and V-value rather than D.
Typical Applications:
Mixed trailer fleets where both ball couplings and towing eyes are in service, typically on 4x4s, pick-ups and light commercials moving plant and utility trailers between sites.
